The band FALL A PREY came up under authority of the ex-Insomnia guitarist and vocalist Tom Cech and the ex-Devil's Eyes bass player Petr Kolar in Olomouc, Czech republic in 2006. They brought together a unique and pure heavy metal stuff and recorded 3 songs as a demo cd in company with old friends from Insomnia, Petr Lenhard on lead guitar and Bretislav Krupa on drums. Early in the Year 2008 Petr Lenhard, the band's lead guitarist leaves the band and is replaced by Ondra Longa. In October 2008 Fall a Prey plays a 45 mins concert, including just and only the band's own songs and prepares for recording of the historically first album. But in December 2008, the bass-player Petr Kolar, suddenly announces to quit the band. After almost 12 months of painstaking searching, the band reinforces again. The SOAD revival's bass guitarist, Tom Komenda jumps in the Fall a Prey fire to get with the band on stage again, but above all, to be by the birth of the Fall a Prey's first studio record. The band records it's second demo, the brand new song "Eye For An Eye", in October 2010 and enters the studio again- in March 2011, but this time, with a new drummer -Petr Nohavica. In April 2011 the band took the 3rd place in the international Rock Band Contest "Rock Arena". The band's very first studio album called "Atheist" was released in July 2011, whereas the band promotes it at several concerts and summer festivals. In August is the drummer Petr Nohavica replaced by very talented thrash metal maniac, Petr Pridal.
